Washing instructions

Gentle hand wash or wool hand wash in the machine. Incorrect laundry can shrink and matt wool or destroy the wool fibers.

For hand washing, fill a container (sink, bath, bowl) with cold or lukewarm water, never warmer. Add wool detergent (not a heavy duty detergent). Let it soak for 1-2 minutes and gently squeeze the piece under water. Take it out carefully. Do not pull out at one end. Change the water and wash the garment until there are no more detergent left in the fibers. Take the piece out of the water and gently squeeze it to remove excess water. Under no circumstances should you wring, pull or knead.

Spread it out to dry on a towel. Never dry in the machine, hang up and place on the heater or in the sun.
